Cosmo Seashells Mix

These tall double blooms tower over the rest. Cosmos are great seeds for a beginning grower as they flourish well on their own. The more you cut them the more they’ll bloom so snip away!!

Direct seed after all threat of the last frost has passed. To sow indoors, start 4-6 weeks before the last frost date and transplant when all threats of frost have passed.

When harvesting choose stems that are just starting to open. Adding flower preservative in their water will prolong their vase life.

Chantilly Snapdragon - Purple

Unique blooms that look different than your traditional snapdragon as each bloom looks like and individual ruffled flower. They bloom in spring and early summer, often coming back to life in the cool of the fall.

Sow indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost date.

When harvesting choose blooms that have 3-4 open blossoms from the bottom. Adding flower preservative in their water will prolong their vase life.

Apple of Peru

Easy to grow foliage that quickly grows into a sturdy filler for bouquets! Small, light indigo flowers bloom before revealing a lantern-like seed pods.  Late in the season the pods make an interesting dried filler.

Sow indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost, transplant after the last threat of frost has passed or direct seed after last frost.

Harvest at desired height or when the blooms appear. Can also be harvested after the bloom as fallen and the pod has formed. 

Oklahoma Zinnia - Salmon

Direct seed after all threat of the last frost has passed. To sow indoors, start 4-6 weeks before the last frost date and transplant when all threats of frost have passed.

When harvesting choose stems that are just starting to open. Adding flower preservative in their water will prolong their vase life.

Oklahoma Zinnias produce medium sized heads with strong stems to support them. These are great seeds for a beginner grower, they thrive well on their own and love the heat of summer. The more you cut them the more they’ll bloom so snip away!!

When harvesting gently shake the stem to see if it has become ‘stiff.’ If so your bloom is ready to cut. Zinnias do not prefer flower preservative in their water.

Larkspur QIS - Dark Blue

Tall spiky stems with numerous blooms on each stem creating a beautiful display in the garden. They make excellent cut flowers, are great addition to any bouquet and add height to arrangements! Larkspur also dries beautifully as it holds it color! Dark Blue is more like a royal purple in color.

Direct seed is recommended when soil temperatures are below 13° C . Note that larkspur gets quite tall so it is recommended that you net the plant to prevent broken or bent stems.

When harvesting choose stems where about half of the blooms are open at the base of the stock. Adding flower preservative in their water will prolong their vase life.

LARKSPUR IS POISONOUS IF INGESTED!
